Optimized Geologic Carbon Storage

The EASY GEO-CARBON project has officially started

PCI-MSCA grant EASY GEO-CARBON (Experimental And numerical StudY of GEOlogic CARBON storage) awarded to Dr. Iman Rahimzadeh Kivi started on 1st May 2022.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships (MSCA IF-ST) aims at generating new skills and innovation through the optimal development and dynamic use of Europe’s intellectual capital. This Postdoctoral Fellowships support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research.

The Project proposal EASY GEO-CARBON (Experimental And numerical StudY of GEOlogic CARBON storage) submitted by Dr. Iman Rahimzadeh Kivi to the MSCA IF-ST 2020 call was scored as a high-quality proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process and received seal of excellence from the European Commission.

EASY GEO-CARBON has received funding from MCIN/AEI/‎‎10.13039/501100011033 and the ‎European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR in the framework of International Collaboration Projects- MSCA IF-ST 2020 under grant agreement number PCI2021-122077-2B‎. This project will be implemented at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

Funding: 160.932 €. Start date: 1 May 2022, End date: 30 April 2024.
