EASY GEO-CARBON has contributed to publishing a book chapter on Induced seismicity in Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS).
“Induced seismicity in EGS” has been published as a chapter of a book entitled “Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS): The Future Energy-Road Ahead”. In this book chapter, a comprehensive review of earthquakes induced in the course of developing enhanced geothermal systems is first presented and the physics of induced earthquakes and the associated triggering mechanisms are then discussed in detail.
